Accompanying Program

Sounds of Games is an evening when ordinary video gaming turns into a concert. The audience becomes players, and their actions on the big screen are accompanied by a musician who creates beats, samples, and unexpected sounds live. Together, they journey through different game worlds, genres, and erasfrom pixelated retro classics to futuristic adventures. Gaming chaos + live music + audience = one big show where no one knows what will happen in the next level.

The programme will be hosted by Jarda, a champion hobby collector: gamer, tabletop RPG narrator, fantasy reader, barista and a prime example of squirrel-like attention. Expect unfinished sentences, jokes without punchlines, but also a dive into the world of gaming and science fiction like a professional diver. Jarda is a long-time host of gastronomic events, one of the performers on the Candycane coffee podcast, and was a guest on the lootbox podcast in an episode dedicated to the world of the Alien phenomenon. He is an organizer of board game events and a lifelong fan of computer and other games.

The musical accompaniment will be provided by a quartet DEVELOOPER, led by award-winning composer Petr WajsarDevelooper is the result of an effort to synthesize techniques that allow music to be generated directly during the performance. Without any prior preparation of material – you, the players, will be the musical dramaturges!
