Designed for general public.

An evening full of failures, because anyone can brag. Failures that aim to encourage and show that when something goes wrong, it doesn't necessarily mean the end of the world. The evening's guests, who will be Czech audiovisual industry professionals with a good dose of humor and self-reflection, will present situations and moments when they wanted to give up everything, but in the end they learned a lesson for their future work and rose from the ashes. We definitely recommend it to everyone in the film industry and the general public.

The guests of the evening will be: director and producer Matěj Chlupáček, YouTuber and comedian Jan Špaček, director and multimedia artist Petr Šprincl, and opera lover and occasional actor Ladislav Čumba. The programme will be moderated by Tereza Bonaventurová.

Tereza Bonaventurová is a photographer, visual artist, and stand-up comedian performing with Underground Comedy. She is also a curator at Galerie Fotografic and a cultural journalist at forUM – art for the city, and previously for Host magazine.

Matěj Chlupáček is a Czech film and television director and producer, founder of the production company Barletta. He made his debut with the film Touchless, becoming one of the youngest directors in Czech history. Under the Barletta brand, he is behind a number of projects for Czech Television, Canal+, and HBO, including the series Rats, Iveta, We’re on it, Comrades!, or Daughter of the Nation. His feature film Úsvit (2023) premiered in the main competition at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and received twelve Czech Lion nominations.

Jan Špaček is a Czech YouTuber, satirist, and host of the Fabulace Jana Špačka project. His work focuses on political reporting and interviews that go beyond the usual framework, combining seriousness with absurdity and often approaching guests in an unconventional way. In his interviews, he strives to "humanize politicians" and avoids asking standard questions, preferring instead to create situations that blur the boundaries between the formal and the informal. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Masaryk University.

Petr Šprincl combines fiction, documentary, and experimentation in his projects, often exploring the hidden forms of evil and the dark layers of everyday reality. He is the author of the trilogy Moravia, O Fair Land (2015–2019), the film Vienna Calling (2018), and the current film Satan Kingdom Babylon (2024). He is also active in the artistic platform Flesh&Brain, where he devotes himself to film, performance, and gallery projects.

Láďa Čumba is a bright young man in a suit, with a resonant voice and a lion's heart, who captivates everyone with his unmistakable Čumba humor. He uses his ability to engage people with interesting facts about the universe and everything else when moderating or climbing hills, surprising everyone with his inexhaustible source of energy. He approaches writing books and teaching foreigners our language with the same enthusiasm. He is a lover of opera, travel, and occasional acting. You will probably never forget meeting him.

Program will be held in Czech.
